A European country has the luxury of having the most powerful passport in the world and its citizens can enter 177 countries without a visa.

This passport is German, which was ranked number 1 of the 2018 World Passport Ranking revealed on Wednesday by Henley & Partners.

The second on the list is Singapore, with 176 countries, followed by several countries in third place: Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom, which have access to 175 countries without having to ask for a visa

Fourth (with 174 visa-free countries) are Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.

The United States shares the fifth spot with Portugal, South Korea and Ireland, with 173 countries.

In Latin America, the best passport is Chilean (161 countries), followed by Argentina and Brazil (158 countries), Mexico (144 countries) and Uruguay (139).

Paraguay and Venezuela share the 34th place in the ranking, with 130 countries. Meanwhile, Panamanians are free of visa in 129 countries, Guatemalans in 123 countries, Peruvians in 120 countries and Colombians in 112 countries.
