CIA director John Brennan on Sunday suggested that Trump lacks understanding about the severe threat Russia possess in regards to the US.
Brennan further elaborated on Mr. Trump’s relationship with the intelligence agency as being “Bitter”.
These types of accusations came five days prior to president elects becoming the 45th President of the United States, adding to the already fueled rumors that Russia played an intricate and active roll in hedging the results in favor of the new president elect Trump over Hillary Clinton.
`”Spontaneity is not something that protects national security interests,” Brennan Stated.
Mr. Trump has not responded to these allegations as of yet on twitter or any other social media.
“I think he has to be mindful that he does not have a full appreciation and understanding of what the implications are of going down that road,” Brennan said.
The President elect is preoccupied with the up coming Fridays swearing in. Trump and his team are preparing to address home as well as abroad issues. He continues to be haunted by growing allegations of his illegitimate presidency. As such, many powerful political leader are refusing to attend the 45th inauguration that is scheduled for Friday, January 20th 2016 at noon, this is the official moment in time that President elect Donald Trump will take over for former President Barrack Obama in an official capacity.
“The world is watching now what Trump says and listening very carefully. If he doesn’t have confidence in the intelligence community, what signal does that send to our partners and allies as well as our adversaries?” Brennan continued to say.
The swearing in of a new president has been an ongoing tradition as far as 1937 when Franklin D. Roosevelt took office.
It had been noted that President Obama will attend the formal swearing in.
