Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl performance included her biggest hits in a 12 minute concert which was sponsored by Pepsi.The 51st Super Bowl was hosted in Houston, Texas and the star performed with drones as her backup dancers and called this performance her biggest yet.

The last Super Bowl performance that hosted in Houston was the controversial (and most memorable) on which starred Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson back in 2004 during with the infamous ‘nip-slip’ occurred.

A Memorable Performance in Super Bowl History

Gaga started her performance with a political undertone as she sang a mash-up of ‘God Bless America’ and ‘This Land Is Your Land’ but then she switched to singing her hits like ‘Born This Way’, ‘Telephone’, ‘Just Dance’, ‘Million Reasons and, finally, ‘Bad Romance’.

Lady Gaga performances are known to be memorable, and even though there weren’t any special guests during the halftime performance. Gaga appeared 79 metres above the crowd, with a swarm of drones hovering around her; twinkling in the sky before adopting the colours of the stars and stripes of the American flag.

Apart from the drones, the performance was filled with spectacular acrobatics, dance moves and Gaga herself, class this the “biggest performance” of her life.

The Drones

The drones featured in Gaga’s performance were powered by Intel and had made their debut at a Disney Show in December 2016.

There were a total of 300 ‘Shooting Star’ drones that danced beside Gaga and were all controlled by just one person. The drone routes are pre-programmed and each drone does its work individually.

The entire Internet reacted to the Lady Gaga performance with awe and many celebrities and public figures like Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Nick Jonas, etc. praised Gaga for the amazing performance.
