Monica Crowley

The President- elect Donald Trump has appointed Monica Crowley, former Fox news analyst as his National Security Council’s communicator, mentioned in a report on Thursday.

Just like Flynn, Crowley is also known to use the terms like “Radical Islamic Terrorism” to describe her views on the threats the world is facing.

As per a Report, her contract with the Fox News is said to be terminated on the same day of the announcement of her appointment.

Crowley said in a statement.

“I am deeply honored, humbled and grateful to be asked by the President-elect to join the extraordinary national security team he is assembling,”

Monica, 48, is a self-described warrior, who was also a foreign policy assistant to the former President Richard Nixon in year of early 1990’s. Now, she will be serving as a senior director of the strategic communications for the National Security Council in the White House.

She is expected to report to the retired Army Lt. General Michael Flynn, who is also a member of National Security Adviser in the White House. Alongside that Flynn will be working with another Fox News alum, KT McFarland, who is also appointed as a Deputy National Security Adviser by the President, last month.

Her role as strategic communications director- will include making suggestions on how to deal with terrorism, and working closely on other National Security Issues.
